quick practices to realign your body’s communication system
- Sigh deeply; practice breathing slowly & intentionally.
- Compress your body with a hug, wrap yourself up in a blanket, or splash some cold water on your face.
- Listen to soothing music, quiet your mind, and exist in stillness.
- Conduct a quick body scan and direct your breath into each part of your body to relax as you do so.
- Make an “om” noise for as long as you can.
- Tap on one hand’s karate chop point with three or four fingers on your other hand for a quick EFT practice.
- Use the below guide to practice a cycle of alternate nostril breathing & repeat as many times as you’d like.
