my passion & why
For the curious soul,
normalizeheart is rooted in the idea that our world needs more kindness, first to ourselves and then to others.
By loving ourselves, by normalizing heart, we are normalizing compassion for our journey and everyone else’s. We are embarking on an evolution that allows us to see the ways we can rise and empowers us with a sense of resilience when we fall.
A self-kindness that supports us to try again.

This website serves as a collection of tools, stories, and resources to support us as we bring awareness to our mind, body, and present; an awareness of the things we are grateful for and the things we wish to improve upon.
As we increase this awareness and self-love, we can begin to embrace ourselves and the life we want; we start to believe in the possibility of a higher potential for our happiness.
normalizeheart is that potential for me, an endless possibility that will continue to grow and evolve with me.
I started this project to share my writing and explore my creativity without a clear goal. I am still discovering where it will take me, but my curiosity about its evolution propelled me to begin. I am so glad I did!
I am still investigating my thought patterns and narratives. I am still reaching for my practices. I am still empowering myself in moments of self-doubt and struggle. I am still, and always will be, learning and growing; that’s powerful and magical.

I am so excited that you are here, growing and evolving with me.
I am so excited to see whom we all become, to watch our futures unfold, for the light and love we will be and illuminate in the world around us.
I am so excited and I hope you are too.
Love,
Madi k May
